In certain scenarios, Windows servers may unexpectedly stop on their own, prompting the need for reactivation. You can follow a simple process to reactivate the Windows server license using the Microsoft Activation Scripts. The following steps provide a quick and effective solution for reactivating Windows servers that have encountered an unexpected shutdown.

Option 1: (No Data Loss)

It is possible to request reactivation of the activation license for 180 days.

  1. Open your CMD

    1. Type the command : slmgr -rearm

    2. You'll get a popup asking you to restart the server. Once restarted, the license will be active for another 180 days.

Option 2: Using KSM (No Data Loss)

  1. Extract the file.

  2. Open /MAS/All-In-One-Version/MAS.AIO

    1. Press the [7] Extras key.

    2. Press [1] Change Windows Edition.

    3. Choose between [1] ServerStandard.

    4. Wait for the loading process.

    5. The script will prompt you to restart the server, press Y.

  3. Once the server has restarted,

    1. Reopen the script.

    2. Press [3] KSM38.

    3. Initiate activation with [1] KMS38 Activation.

Option 3 : Reinstalling the VM (Data Loss)
